According to Jay Penske, Kevin Turan’s close friend, “despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends.” This was reported in The Hollywood Reporter.
He and his wife, Evelina, were dedicated to instilling morality in their children and seeing to it that they go on to make a difference in the world.
“Our collective heart is broken for him,” the message went on to say. As the city bids farewell to a bright possibility on the ascent of his promising journey, we think back on treasured moments spent with Kevin and hold them in our hearts and souls.”It appears from the deadline that Turan passed away unexpectedly this week. Jack and James, his boys with wife Evelina, are all that remain of him.
Dallas Buyers Club producer Casian Elves tweeted, “A good friend and a true indie film producer died tonight at a very young age.” Turan was a prolific filmmaker and an integral part of the filmmaking community. I’m in a deep state of despair. Hold your family and friends close. Life is short and valuable.
With Euphoria producer Sam Levinson and his wife Ashley, Turan, who was born in New York City in 1979 and attended Columbia University, established Little Lamb Productions in 2018. Pieces of a Woman, starring Vanessa Kirby and Shia LaBeouf, will be released in 2020 under their joint production banner. Other than the forthcoming series Gossamer, his works include Pearl Ex and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
Kevin TUren his passing occurs three months after that of fellow actor Angus Cloud, who played Euphoria’s lead. Cloud, only 35 years old, passed away on July 31 from an accidental overdose at his family’s house in Oakland, California.
